Certification Program Details
 
This two-day comprehensive Certificate Program in Special Education Mediation will teach you everything you need to know about assisting parents and schools resolve agreements over the Individual Education Plan of a student.  
 
The skills and techniques learned in this program include how to effectively assist in the negotiation of dispute resolution that that simultaneously improved relationships between schools and families while helping special students get the services and educational assistance they need to be successful in school. 
 
The training includes a participant manual, interactive discussion, group exercises and role play cases.
 
Class Schedule 9:00 - 4:00 each day.
 
The class will be held over two consecutive days of training, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on October 19, 2026 and ending at 4:00 pm on October 20, 2026.
