Audra N. Gillis

Audra N. Gillis is a Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and the founder of Trinity Wholistic Healing Services in Maryland. She is an experienced psychotherapist who is caring & compassionate with the goal of healing the whole patient...mind, body & spirit.

 

With almost 30 years experience as an individual, marriage and family therapist, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are women's issues, depression, stress management, self-esteem issues, relationship/communication issues, anxiety disorders and hypnotherapy. Audra also works with firefighters suffering from mental health concerns including PTSD, depression, anxiety, as well as addiction. 

 

Audra is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help patients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

 

Audra holds a Master’s in Social Work degree from Howard University. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC. She is also a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor (CDVC), Certified Behavioral Therapist (CBT) & Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT).

 

Audra has memberships with National Association of Social Workers (NASW), American Psychotherapy Association (APA), National Board of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, National Association of Forensic Counselors, American Naturopathic & Holistic Association, and American Board of Hypnotherapy.
