Negotiation Techniques for Neutrals and Advocates - – Whether you are working on one side of a dispute as an advocate or working for both sides as a mediator or you are a business professional who has to mediate employee or other business disputes that are negatively impacting productivity or profitability, this two day seminar will prove invaluable. Students are given an opportunity to learn proven negotiation techniques that are used by experienced and successful negotiators, mediators and business managers on an everyday basis.
Lecture, demonstration and small workgroups will be employed in an informative, fast-paced format to provide participants with knowledge and techniques that may be immediately added to their professional practice toolbox.
The techniques presented may be used by more than legal, business and mediation professionals, such as in couples counseling, agency disputes and education forums as well as in personal life circumstances, such as resolving disagreements with spouses, partners, children or friends.
