Advanced Mediation Training
An advanced, two day training workshop comprised of segments taught by experts in the fields of finance, retirement asset valuation and distribution, real estate law and business valuations. Comprehensive discussions about alimony and child support options, modifications and alternatives are included. This advanced level mediation training focuses more deeply on concepts learned by graduates of our four day Divorcve Mediation Certification Training. Concepts are specific to financial and other considerations that mediators frequently encounter in mediating divorce cases. The course is designed to increase the value of the services offered by attending medaitors by increasing their knowledge about these more advanced concepts. More knowledgeable mediators are better able to assist divorcing spouses in making informed and equitable agreements based upon their unique circumstances.
On the second day of training, students work in teams in a competition involving the mediation of a complex case. Winners of the mediation competition receive a Mediator Team Competition Award and a refund of one-half of their paid tuition!
